Konrad is the founder of Falcon and is responsible for defining Falcon’s business strategy. Over the last thirty years Konrad has built start-up export operations in Zimbabwe, Angola, DR Congo and Cameroon. He also developed Falcon’s Collaborative Supply Chain business model in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda and Nicaragua. Before starting Falcon Coffees, Konrad spent fifteen years with the WM Cahn and CTCS group, beginning his coffee career in Africa before relocating to the UK in 2000. Konrad spends his time on the road, presenting Falcon’s business concepts to prospective clients, visiting origin partners and supporting the trading team in Lewes.
Helen’s interest in coffee was sparked during a sabbatical living and working in Kigali, Rwanda in 2014. Helen worked with entrepreneurs providing business development and financial advice. She encountered Falcon through working with their sister company, RTC in Rwanda on working capital loans and finance process improvements. Prior to living in Rwanda Helen spent 6 years with EY in their London audit practice, gaining her chartered accountancy qualification in 2010.
Helen joined Falcon back in the UK in 2015 and became CFO in January 2018. She is responsible for financial strategy, reporting, compliance and risk management.
Agnieszka joined Falcon in 2018, bringing with her more than 20 years of coffee industry experience including physical trading, strategy, finance and risk management. Agnieszka has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance, is a coffee Grader under ICE London, and a coffee Arbitrator with the British Coffee Association and the London Court of International Arbitration. Agnieszka’s involvement in Falcon is to oversee operations of all departments to measure and control their performance and direct growth in a sustainable manner.
Matt has been working with Falcon since 2012, joining first as a trader, before becoming Chief Trading Officer in 2018. He has over 20 years of experience in the green coffee trade with a strong focus on Latin American origins and supply chains. He is a fluent Spanish speaker with extensive experience in price risk management support to origin and building transparent supply chains. He currently oversees our global trading activities and origin-sourcing operations and is responsible for coordinating the development of our sustainable sourcing activities.
Katie was one of the first employees of Falcon in 2008. She started her Falcon career in logistics spending 3 years on the Isle of Man managing shipments of coffee all over the world. In 2011 she moved to the Lewes office and has built up the Logistics team from 1 to 5 people.
Katie was instrumental in designing and implementing the trade database and is now responsible for further development of the database and systems.
Her current role is wide ranging encompassing managing the Logistics team, projects on traceability and system improvements.
Tesby has worked in the coffee industry since 2005. He has experience in Logistics, Accounting, Physical and Futures Trading. He began his career in Nicaragua on logistics and moved to the UK in 2007. He now manages Falcon’s Futures Position and Cash Management.
Craig joined Falcon in September 2014 to take a role in the logistics department working mainly with our Ugandan partners. Originally schooled in coffee at Lincoln & York Coffee Roasters where he served a 10 year apprenticeship. Prior to joining Falcon, Craig worked at Mercanta overseeing all logistic operations and learning the art of shipping green coffee.
Matt is a qualified Physiotherapist but his fascination and love for coffee led him towards a new career with Falcon back in 2014. Matt has travelled extensively at origin, visiting farms in Rwanda, El Salvador, Indonesia, Brazil and Guatemala, to name just a few.
He has experience at the front end of the coffee supply chain, having worked as a barista in Melbourne prior to joining Falcon. Matt is also a certified Q-grade cupper.
Saro has a Biochemistry degree and a background in the Pharmaceutical industry. He arrived in the UK in 2010 where soon after he joined Twin Trading Ltd. as a Quality officer, gaining experience in roasting and cupping skills.
He then joined Falcon Coffees Ltd. In 2014 where he has acquired a great knowledge in Logistics, especially dealing with our Latam origins.
Phil has worked in the coffee industry since 2014 in a range of roles, including barista, roaster, trader, researcher and writer. In 2021, he completed an MPhil in Economic and Social History at the University of Cambridge, where his research explored the construction of quality in colonial Kenya’s coffee supply chain. He continues to publish articles on coffee in colonial East Africa.
After working with green coffee social enterprise, Raw Material, in sales and quality control, Phil joined Falcon, where he works with roasters across the UK and Ireland to connect them with Raw Material’s and Falcon’s portfolio of coffees and sourcing projects.
He is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland with his partner and their cats, Honeybear (orange tabby) and Brandyball (tortoiseshell).
Ben joined our marketing team in early 2018, assisting in branding, web design and events. Ben is a former freelance graphic designer, having worked on various print and web-based projects for multiple clients. His last role before joining Falcon was working in post-production graphic design with Formula 1.
Anna joined the team in June 2017 and is an International Trade Technician. With more than 2 years in the forwarding industry prior to joining us, she wanted a change from shipping industrial products for something far more exciting – coffee. Ana now manages South and Central American shipments alongside Saro, who collectively form the LATAM team in Lewes. Ana is originally from Barcelona and faces every new coffee origin as a challenge to strengthen her logistical skills.
David has over 30 years experience in Finance, having graduated in Finance and Accounting in 1994. David’s previous roles include Financial Controller, Finance Manager and Group Accountant, having held positions in Australia, the Cayman Islands, Germany, Guernsey, Jersey and the UK.
Since joining Falcon in 2017, David’s role includes overseeing monthly financial reporting, being responsible for our year-end financial audit and building analysis of profitability at both origin and customer level to aid traders and other internal stakeholders.
Line graduated as an Engineer in Agronomy in France, before beginning her path into the coffee industry; firstly in Venezuela and then Peru. Having gained valuable experience in South America, Line moved to Tanzania, where she spent 2 years working for Falcon’s former sister company Tembo in Mbeya.
Line joined Falcon Specialty in 2017, and is now leading the UK and EU sales team. Social and ecological causes are at the heart of her work and she could spend hours talking about gender equality or reg Ag with you. In fact she probably will.
Sophie joined Falcon in 2015 after several years working as a barista and coffee shop manager. Having previously completed a degree in outdoor education, she fell in love with coffee and has never looked back. After completing her Q Grader in 2017, Sophie now manages the QC lab in Lewes, UK and oversees all QC operations at Falcon.
Helen is our laboratory and quality controller. She handles all the incoming and outgoing samples, does our sample roasting and prepares our daily cuppings to Q-grade specifications. Helen came to us with a number of years experience working as a barista and coffee shop manager.
Gabriele joined Falcon’s Specialty Team in early 2018 to work in a logistics role, she now oversees the specialty logistics team and manages shipments from origin to our specialty clients in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Falcon Gabriele graduated with a BA in International Business from her studies in the UK and The Netherlands. During that time she developed a particular interest in corporate social and environmental responsibility which resulted in her collaborating and leading on various in-house environmental sustainability projects.
George joined Falcon in 2019 after working across cafés and roasteries in New Zealand and the UK. Today, as Falcon Micro Lead and Senior Specialty Sales Representative, he leads Falcon’s eCommerce platform while working with more than 200 specialty coffee roasters across the UK, Portugal and the Netherlands.
Having travelled extensively through Falcon’s supply chain—including multiple trips to Brazil and origin visits to Peru and Rwanda—George combines first-hand origin knowledge with a deep understanding of what different roasters are looking for. His role is rooted in building long-term partnerships at both ends of the supply chain: connecting producers and exporters with roasters who value quality, transparency and relationships that last.
Whether working with ambitious start-ups buying their first bags or established wholesale roasteries refining their range, George enjoys matching customers with coffees that suit their roasting style, business goals and market.
When he’s not talking coffee, you’ll usually find him tinkering with or riding one of his bikes, or sampling the craft beer scene around the South Downs National Park.
Steve joined Falcon early in 2018 after a change in career direction led him into the coffee industry. He joined Falcon with a background in engineering which has proved invaluable in the lab environment due to his ability to think logically and problem solve. He successfully obtained his Q Grader license in 2023, cementing him as an integral part of Falcon’s central QC department in Lewes, UK. Now a senior member of the QC team, Steve’s main tasking is the support and continued development of both the international Falcon QC Team and Speciality Sourcing Team. Steve is an accomplished roaster and cupper as well as a music lover and multi-instrumentalist.
Eleanor’s introduction to coffee began in 2013, when her degree in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Oxford took her to Colombian and Brazilian coffee farms. Her interest in global commerce led to a career in currency trading markets for banks across London and New York, including introducing new trading strategies to Latin American markets.
In 2024 Eleanor pivoted to the coffee world, travelling extensively across South America and learning about coffee supply chains. She is responsible for connecting UK commercial roasters with sustainably sourced coffee from all global origins.
Mandi is an ecologist and research scientist who has worked in the coffee industry for over a decade. She is interested in sustainable agriculture as a means to provide wildlife habitat, foster ecosystem services, and conserve biodiversity, while simultaneously providing for human livelihoods.
She has led research studies in coffee-growing regions of India, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Mandi completed her postdoctoral research with the Bird Friendly coffee program at the Smithsonian Institution and taught classes in coffee, agroecology, and food systems at Columbia University.
Mandi continually seeks to build bridges between academia and industry and collaborates with various actors across the coffee value chain. She led the Knowledge Transfer Project (KTP), a collaboration between the University of Brighton and Falcon Coffees to identify and implement methodologies for measuring and mitigating carbon emissions in the coffee supply chain. As Head of Science and Research, she will continue to lead collaborative projects and spearhead Falcon’s science-based initiatives.
Shaun joined Falcon in December 2023 having previously worked for an accountancy practice as an accountant and auditor. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2021 and is now part of the financial reporting team. His role includes preparation and maintenance of the monthly balance sheet adjustments, being responsible for all the internal and external reporting for Falcon Coffees Europe and taking control of the VAT returns preparation and submission.
Harry joined Falcon in 2021 and holds a biochemistry degree from Swansea University. As Falcon’s data analyst, Harry leads all emissions calculations and analytics and is a primary contributor to Falcon’s annual CDP and TCFD disclosures. Harry is also Falcon’s lead researcher and holds extensive knowledge in carbon accounting, mitigation and sequestration.
James is a fully qualified accountant under ICAEW and joined Falcon in 2023 as the Assistant Financial Controller. He is based in the head office in Lewes, UK and is responsible for the management of the finance team as well as ensuring daily, monthly and yearly transactional and reporting requirements are met. James also oversees reporting for the European and Malaysian companies. James has developed his love for coffee and had his eyes opened to the vast number of origins Falcon has relationships in, both on the supply and customer side. He keeps a keen eye on the extensive work Falcon is doing and the achievements being made by his colleagues on sustainability and traceability projects.
Ivana joined Falcon in early 2026 as the company’s first in-house HR Manager, bringing over 10 years of HR experience across a variety of industries. Although new to the coffee trade, her passion for coffee developed during her time working in London’s high-end hospitality sector while studying Human Resource Management at King’s College London.
At Falcon, Ivana is focused on building and strengthening the HR function, supporting both the business and its employees as the company continues to grow globally. She is particularly passionate about navigating the complexities of international employment and creating greater clarity, consistency and balance across Falcon’s global workforce.
An enthusiastic traveller and lifelong learner, Ivana has explored many countries around the world and values the diverse perspectives that come from working in an international environment. She is proud to be part of Falcon, where respect, dignity and collaboration are reflected in everyday interactions, and feels fortunate to work alongside such passionate and dedicated people.
Sébastien has extensive experience working in coffee origins. He spent more than 20 years in Central America where he set up an export and brokering company (STC) having previously worked consulting and supporting coops and exporters in their marketing and operations. He returned to his native city of Bordeaux in 2021 where he worked for 3 years with a local trader before joining Falcon in March 2024. Sebastien is responsible for trading to European clients, with a particular focus on Latin American washed milds.
Nicole joined Falcon in 2025, having worked in care supporting young people with complex medical needs whist earning a Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma, Nicole then transitioned into a Finance and Compliance Coordinator role, where she handled various Finance and HR-related tasks over five years. Nicole is currently studying for her AAT qualification. Nicole manages daily bank reconciliations, credit control, and payments.
Khalid Chogle joined Falcon Coffees in May 2024 as IT Manager, bringing over 14 years of expertise in IT, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He specializes in optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and aligning technology with business goals.
With certifications including Microsoft CSP, AWS Solutions Architect, and ITIL V3, Khalid plays a key role in enhancing Falcon’s digital capabilities, streamlining operations, and supporting sustainable growth through innovative IT solutions.
Pál began his coffee journey in Budapest in 2016, starting as a barista before moving to Brighton, where he took on various roles at a coffee roastery. His passion for photography and creativity eventually led him to join Falcon’s branding team in 2024, where he is responsible for social media management, content creation, and branding.
Josh’s coffee journey began in Australia in 2016, when he started working part-time in cafés while studying Theology and discovering a fascination with the deep and varied world of coffee — from unpacking recipes and profiles to uncovering the stories of origins and farms long before the coffee reaches the hopper. After moving back to the UK, he began brewing and roasting in Brighton before stepping away for a few years to explore other creative paths, including teaching music, producing and songwriting, and a short spell of web development and design in there as well. In June 2025, he found his way back to coffee, joining Falcon to work on the Micro project which has allowed him to marry up his creativity with his love for coffee.
Our newest member of the growing QC team, Lewes local Alex came to Falcon in the summer of 2021 and quickly became a valuable asset to us. Alex manages the large amount of sample request that come in to the UK lab and is honing his skills as a roaster. A self-confessed F1 nut, Alex is also a beekeeper and a photographer.
Oli joined Falcon in 2025 with an academic focus on coffee sustainability issues, having dedicated his undergraduate and master’s dissertations to the subject. He previously gained industry experience as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Development Studies and as a Lab Assistant at Mercanta. A dual British and Spanish citizen, Oli is a confident Spanish speaker and holds SCA certifications in Coffee Sustainability and Green Coffee.
Kevin is based in Austin, TX and is focused on sales to the North American market. Before joining Falcon, Kevin held positions at Keurig Green Mountain and Keurig Trading in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he managed the sourcing of African and Asian coffees and the procurement planning for their seven different roasting plants. Prior to his time in coffee, Kevin spent 12 years in the snowboard and skateboard industry in various logistics and supply chain roles. In addition to his extensive origin travel, Kevin is a licensed Q grader and an experienced differential buyer.
Brian is based in Austin TX and is focused on sales to the North American market. Brian’s coffee journey started writing bad poetry at cafes in Berkeley California during high school. This love of coffee and language fused with his first coffee job as a barista at Peet’s Coffee.
He quickly gained a reputation as a very slow barista (before slow was cool) and focused on romancing customers purchasing bags of coffee with long, poetic descriptions. After moving to Seattle Brian worked for Tully’s Coffee where his responsibilities were Master Roaster, Green Coffee buyer, developing quality control procedures for roasting and packaging, blend development and warehouse management. Most recently Brian worked for a large specialty-focused coffee importer for 10 years focusing on sales to north American clients and was responsible for purchases from East Africa for the company. Brian is a Q grader.
Kate is based in Austin, TX and leads Falcon’s global sustainability strategy. Kate started working in the coffee industry in 2010 and has worn a number of hats including procurement, sensory (Kate is a trained Q-Grader), project and program management, and operations. Kate holds a Masters in Community Development & Applied Economics from UVM and completed her thesis on third-party certification in coffee supply chains. As a firm believer that every actor in the coffee supply chain can do good while doing well, she is a proponent of a just transition to climate-conscious supply chains.
Corey started working in coffee while in university studying religious studies and sociology. It started as a way to meet people who weren’t students, but it wasn’t long before she was connecting her philosophical ideas to the coffee world and turning tasting notes into poems. Corey trained baristas and managed events before heading to the west coast to pursue a graduate degree in poetry & continue working in coffee as a barista trainer. She then moved behind the scenes to production, roasting, and working on espresso machines before becoming a production manager.
Before joining the team at Falcon, Corey worked for a specialty coffee roaster for 5 years buying green coffee, overseeing the operations side of the coffee program, and managing production & wholesale, which is also how she became acquainted with Falcon. She is now based in Austin TX and focused on North America specialty sales for Falcon, a job that brings her experience and love for connecting with roasters and producers together.
Nathan’s coffee journey began as a way to hang out with his “cool” older college friends while he was in high school. He found himself working amongst knowledgeable/passionate people, who ushered him into the world of specialty coffee. Determined to learn as much as he could about the industry, he loaded up his Volkswagen van and headed west. Over the course of the next few years Nathan worked for a variety of companies in a variety of roles, soaking up as much about the industry as he could. He obtained his Q-Grader certificate and spent some time in the wine industry in hopes of bringing a fresh perspective to his knowledge of coffee. After learning about terroir and hearing the stories of wine producers, he decided to return to the coffee industry, to pursue coffee importing. He is now based in Austin TX and focused on North American specialty sales.
Alejandro is based in our Austin TX office and manages all things QC for Falcon North America.
He has worked in the coffee industry since 2010 in a variety of roles from barista to cafe manager to trainer. Prior to joining Falcon, Alejandro worked for a large-scale specialty coffee subscription company for 4 years, where he learned the dark art of roasting and became an accomplished cupper.
In his off time, he is a devoted girl Dad, rock climber and film nerd (he also loves tank tops).
Raised in a family of coffee producers and exporters, Roberto grew up in the thick of it—literally. His childhood was filled with adventures like running wild through mounds of parchment on the “patios” of his grandparents’ mill and venturing deep into coffee fields to pluck ripe cherries straight off the tree during harvest (strictly for research, of course).
It didn’t take long for the coffee bug to bite. Summers were spent hovering around the cupping table, trying to look older than he was, and weaseling his way into any farm project he could—whether it was helping with grafting trials on his grandfather’s farm or tinkering with old machinery and rusty tractors at the mill.
Living in Nicaragua, he got a front-row seat to the full coffee supply chain—watching how sustainable sourcing could have a significant impact for entire communities. Even when his professional path veered into business consulting and tech, coffee was never far behind. He worked with coffee retail brands in both Nicaragua and the U.S., helping them build direct trade supply chains and develop branding and an online presence that showcased their counterparts at origin.
After five years of traveling and working remotely with Costa Rica as home base for his wife, their slightly spoiled schnauzer and him. He made the move to Austin, where he joined Falcon’s trading desk as a Junior Trader.
Griffin left his hometown of Holland, MI in 2018 to attend undergrad at Baylor University in Waco, TX. It was here that he obtained his BBA in Supply Chain Management and began his career in logistics following his graduation in 2022. Gaining experience from 3PL service provider Bluejay Solutions/E2Open and startup trucking venture aifleet, Griffin embraced the logistics side of the supply chain very early on in his career.
In May of 2024, Griffin joined the logistics team at Falcon in the North America office in Austin, TX. His primary focus is handling logistics for the specialty side of Falcon NA. Despite being a newcomer to the coffee industry, Griffin’s passion for logistics and providing quality customer service allows him the opportunity to learn more about the coffee trade every day.
Summer started out in the coffee industry at Dupuy Storage Houston while she was in high school as an office assistant. She continued to grow within the logistics industry, moving into shipping and receiving before transitioning into a Customer Service Representative role where she expanded her experience in shipment coordination, customer relationships, inventory management, and operational support.
Through her time in logistics, Summer developed a passion and understanding for creating smooth processes and providing reliable support to customers and teams. Her experience working closely with different areas of the supply chain sparked her curiosity to continue learning and gaining a deeper understanding of the industry. After working closely with Falcon for several years, Summer made the move to Austin and officially joined the Falcon team in June 2026.
After becoming a self-proclaimed home barista during the pandemic, Clair decided to apply to a barista job in August of 2023. What was once a hobby quickly turned into a passion. Her curiosity and enthusiasm to learn more about the craft of coffee ignited a fire within her to share her love of coffee with others.
She quickly advanced in her career from barista to trainer/head barista within a year. She relocated to Austin in 2024 from her hometown and continued her barista career at a local coffee shop, eventually taking on an additional role as a production assistant. Her role in production included fulfilling wholesale orders, delivering coffee all around Austin, and roasting coffee.
She is now based at Falcon’s Austin, TX office assisting in all quality control aspects for North America. She is always striving to learn more about coffee and loves to engage with others within the coffee community. In her free time, she enjoys trying new coffee shops, photography and going to concerts. Clair’s drink of choice is either a cappuccino or a nice fruity pour over.
Bara has been working in coffee since her teenage years, spanning various roles in the industry including barista, master roaster, coffee consultant and since 2019, European Sales Representative for Falcon Specialty. Bara’s career in coffee has seen her travel extensively throughout Europe and South America, and she is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Bara’s innate enthusiasm for connecting roasters with producers and our supply chain partners has become an intrinsic part of her longer-term vocational role within the coffee industry.
Jess is originally from Halifax, Canada but lived in Vienna, Austria from 2008-2020. She has been working in coffee since 2010 in various roles, starting as a barista and progressing to roasting. She won the Austrian Cup Taster’s Championship in 2017, then moved to Berlin in May 2020 to continue working as a production roaster. She joined the Falcon Coffees Europe team, initially to work with Falcon Micro in 2022 and she now works alongside our specialty sales team to support our clients wherever needed.
Andrea joined the Falcon team in Berlin in 2022 in a combined role as Office Manager and logistics clerk for the speciality team. She previously worked in the hotel industries in Germany, the UK and Poland and has since worked in operations management for various Berlin startups. Andrea enjoys travelling and speaks five languages. Feel free to reach out to her in German, English, Polish, French or Spanish.
Lorenzo started his journey with Falcon in 2024 and is part of the specialty sales team.
He is based in Genoa, Italy and is responsible for sales in designated countries with a specific focus on the south of Europe. Lorenzo joined Falcon after working all along the coffee supply chain, his first job in coffee was in Honduras where he worked for both a cooperative and an exporter, after that he moved to coffee importing and then roasting. Lorenzo is also a certified Q-grader.
Originally from Poland, Aga relocated to Berlin in 2019. She’s worked in the coffee industry for over 8 years in various roles, starting as a barista, head barista and occasionally offering consulting and training. She represented Poland at World of Coffee events on two occasions, in 2018 at the World Cup Tasters Championships and 2019 at World Cezve/Ibrik Championships. She joined Falcon’s Berlin team in 2023 to work with Falcon Micro and moved to the QC department in 2024.
After spending time in Taiwan and Sweden, and a few years in Vienna, Laure has now brought her suitcases to Berlin to begin her journey with Falcon Specialty. She brings with her experience in roasteries, coffee shops, culinary arts, and international trade, and she speaks four languages: English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin.
At the moment, Laure is spending time with Jess and Helen in Customer Support to get a feel for how we work and to have the opportunity to meet you when you contact us with any questions or concerns – a great way for her to get to know you all!

Originally from Kobe, Japan, Daichi moved to Berlin in 2024. He began working in the coffee industry in 2017. His coffee journey started with visits to coffee farms in Southeast Asia during his backpacking travels. Over the years, Daichi has worked in various roles, including barista, head barista, roaster, QC, and barista trainer, in Japan, Melbourne, and Auckland. He also ran his own coffee roastery and pottery shop in Japan and founded New World Coffee, a coffee subscription service.
Daichi loves natural wine, baking sourdough and travelling.
Nas started his coffee career in 2014 as a Barista. Since then, he has worked in QC, roasting and as an independent consultant. He has a passion for coffee competitions making the final of the 2019 Malaysia Barista Championships. He joined the Falcon Asia team in June 2023 to support with QC and Specialty Coffee Sales in the region.
Vicky joined Falcon with 12 years of logistics experience in the manufacturing industry. She handles all the logistics for Falcon Asia. Vicky has extensive knowledge of Malaysia’s customs regulations and a broad network of service providers throughout the region. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology. Although new to the coffee industry she has long been an eager consumer: She loves a flat white!
Shuk joined our Malaysia team in August 2024 as the Head of QC Lab. With over a decade in specialty coffee, Shuk brings extensive expertise across various areas, including roasting, green coffee buying, and business operations.
Ainaa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and have four years of experience in Finance. Prior to joining the Falcon, she worked in a corporate shared services environment within a regional finance team, where she built a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations. Having successfully completed the MICPA-CAANZ professional program, she is committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
Ariena became part of the team in June 2026. Bringing valuable experience from the logistics and manufacturing industries, she has expanded her career into the coffee sector. She oversees daily bank reconciliation, credit control, payment and supports a wide range of finance activities.
Jongyun has worked in coffee since 2017 joining Falcon full time as of January 2022. Jongyun has held multiple positions in his coffee career from Head Barista, Quality Control and Supply Chain Manger. He also holds a BSC in Psychology from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
Iman Zahirfar is a writer and photographer from Canada. In 2020, she was first introduced to the specialty coffee scene while living in South Korea. Since then, she has taken on a variety of coffee-related projects around the world that led her to photographing expos and events, writing for magazines, and creating video content at cafes and coffee origins. These opportunities led her to meeting Falcon Coffees and moving back as a member of the team to the country that first sparked her passion in coffee: Korea.
Jinny spent nearly six years in the corporate world as a real estate and facilities management specialist before following her passion for coffee into a new industry.
Now based in Korea, she supports Falcon’s green coffee operations with a sharp eye for detail, strong coordination skills, and endless curiosity for how coffee moves through the world.
Kris started out as a barista back in 2013 and discovered his passion for specialty coffee while working in Sydney in 2016. These days, he’s at Falcon Coffees Korea, where he’s designing sample roasting profiles and helping improve QC processes.
Kris believes it’s important to recognise the hard work that goes into not only coffee but all agricultural produce, and he tries to make sure that effort is honoured and passed on to consumers. With that in mind, he also does his best to support fair trade produce.
Looking ahead, Kris hopes to keep building a bridge between producers and consumers through quality control and a more sustainable coffee culture.
Teshale joined Falcon coffees as Operations Manager in our Addis Ababa Office in October 2018. He graduated from VHL, University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, with a Masters in Agriculture Production Chain Management. Teshale has worked in the coffee sector for more than 10 years in different positions, and has served as farm manager, farm supervisor, as an agronomist in commercial-owned coffee farms and as a project coordinator.
As Operations Manager, he helps identify areas and producers that fit Falcon’s sourcing needs and also puts in place procedures that help us facilitate export delivery and performance out of Ethiopia. Teshale speaks 3 languages: Oromiffa, Amharic and English.
Gemechu graduated from Debub University (now Hawasa University) in Food science and Post-harvest Technology. Gemechu worked in Zonal Food security and Disaster Prevention and Preparedness for more than four years, before joining Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) for eight years where he served as Coffee Quality Controller and Coffee Quality Supervisor.
As Quality Manager and Q Grader for Falcon’s Ethiopia office, Gemechu utilises his experience from the ECX and is in charge of cupping coffee samples that will be sent to our UK lab and buyers.
Segni worked with the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) for three years as a cupper and subsequently with a leading coffee export company in Ethiopia as coffee lab analyst. He has a university degree in plant science.
Feven joined Falcon’s regional office in Addis Ababa as Logistics and Admin Assistant in mid Feb 2022. She has previous experience in customer service in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding/Shipping industry. including a role managing export shipments with Maersk shipping line. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Fikirte joined Falcon in September 2018. She assists the QC team with roasting and preparing samples for cupping.
Temesgen joined Falcon’s Ethiopia satellite office as a field officer in December 2022. He has previous experience training in agricultural practices at Guangua-West, Guji. His role is to support Falcon’s supply partners in the southern areas of Guji, Yirgacheffe and Sidama on good agricultural practices, harvesting, processing, post-harvest, sustainability and traceability.
Harun joined Falcon’s Ethiopia satellite office as a Field officer in November 2020. He has previous experience in the Wereda district agricultural office as a development agent and coffee, tea and spices quality and marketing coordinator. He supports our supply partners in Western Ethiopia on good agricultural practices, harvesting, processing, post-harvest, and sustainability.
Teddy joined Falcon as a driver in September 2018. He works as a loading supervisor in addition to providing a driving service. He also assists the team in the sampling process in the lab.
Tsion Joined Falcon’s regional office in Addis Ababa as Logistics and Admin Assistant in August 2024. Previously she was working in goods Import and coffee export area and got logistics related experiences. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and currently working on her MBA degree in Project Management.
Jacqueline is based in Lima, Peru where she is focused on managing trade and supply for Falcon within the origin. Prior to joining Falcon in October 2019, Jacqueline worked as a trader and cupper with exporter and broker Sustainable Trading Company in Costa Rica.
Her coffee career began in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, where she held positions with two green bean importers before deciding to relocate to Latin America in 2016. She is a fluent Spanish speaker, certified Q Grader, and published writer, including various contributions to industry publications.
Geidi Neira graduated as an agro-industrial engineer in 2008 and began working in the coffee industry in 2010 in various roles in the regional agroindustry in northern and central Peru. She has worked for a major coffee exporter in both the northern and central regions of Peru, including as regional manager for six years. She joined Falcon in early 2022 and oversees operations at the warehouse.
LLensy is a professional accountant from a family of coffee farmers in the San Ignacio province. LLensy has worked in various positions related to coffee production, including as accounts assistant, quality control assistant, coffee reception and warehouse manager for two cooperatives in the region. She joined Falcon in 2019
Jorge joined Falcon in March 2023 and runs our export operation in Jaen, Peru. He has worked in many areas of green coffee. He worked as a coffee buyer for Allegro Wholefoods in the USA, managed Central American supply chains from his native Nicaragua for a leading US green coffee importer. Prior to joining Falcon he ran price risk management workshops for producers in Latin America.
Franklin, a graduate in Agricultural Production Technology from the San Agustín Public Technological Institute, brings wide experience in assisting small coffee producer organizations to improve farm quality and productivity. Franklin joined Falcon Coffees as a full time Field Technician in 2024
Lucy joined Falcon in March 2024 as our first dedicated Technical Manager for our export operation. She oversees our quality improvement, traceability and sustainable sourcing activities with producers and cooperatives. She has worked in green coffee in northern Peru since 2007. Prior to working with Falcon she was the sustainability and certificadtions coordinator in northern Peru for a leading green coffee trade house.
Jose Ramirez is the son of coffee producers. He has worked for a number of leading cooperatives and specialty exporters as a field officer and quality control assistant, and was responsible for the technical area. He joined Falcon in 2019 as field officer and now responsible for quality control and producer relations.
Kely is the daughter of a coffee-producing family. After completing her technical degree in agricultural production, she began working in the coffee industry in 2016 with two cooperatives, conducting technical inspections and training in cupping. In 2017, she worked at Olam Agro Perú Sac as a coffee receptionist. In 2018, she joined Falcón as a quality control assistant. Her interest in coffee grew with experience, and she is now in charge of quality control and is a qualified Q-Grader.
Leyla comes from a coffee producing family. She joined the Falcon team in 2018 and has since been responsible for the reception and physical analysis of green coffee deliveries at our warehouse in Jaen. She studied agricultural production. She now oversees our green coffee reception and is also involved in monitoring processing of our lots prior to export.
Mirian comes from a family of coffee producers and graduated as a Food Industry Engineer from the National University of Jaen. She joined Falcon in 2019, working closely with the quality control team. In the last two years, her primary function at FCP has been in sample roasting and cupping.
Merly joined Falcon in June 2021 as a logistics officer based in our Lima office. She is an experienced International Business and Administration professional, with more than three years experience assisting logistics processes and handling export documents. Merly has worked as an assistant and logistics coordinator at one of the largest coffee exporters in Peru and has managed logistics operations for commercial, specialty and certified coffee exports to destination across the globe.
Arturo Ramirez Ramos comes from a family of farmers. He joined Falcon Coffees Peru in 2019 as an estevedor and in 2021 transitioned to the physical analysis and reception department. Arturo brings with him valuable experience and knowledge gained from his background in coffee production.
Yoel delivers technical support to coffee farmers, focusing on improving production quality and sustainability. Prior to joining Falcon, Yoel established his family’s coffee farm featuring varieties like Red Catuai, Red Obata, and Parainema. He also managed a personal business selling fertilizers and offering consulting services in the coffee production value chain.
Hugo provides technical support to coffee farmers, focusing on improving production quality and sustainability. Prior to joining Falcon, he worked with a coffee trade and export cooperative as well as some independent initiatives.
Luz manages daily payments to coffee farmers and handles related accounting tasks. Prior to joining Falcon, she has worked in accounts support roles both for coffee cooperatives and as an independent consultant.
Gustavo manages all aspects of in-land transportation, exports, shipping, bookings, and certification compliance. Before Falcon, he served as logistics and traceability manager at another cooperative in Jaen, overseeing the entire export process from producer purchase to final export. He has a degree in International Business and Commerce.
With over 25 years of experience in the coffee industry, I have built a strong background in logistics, exports, and international trade operations. I began my career in 1998 at Coex Coffee, where I spent 14 years developing from an administrative role into logistics and export operations.
I then managed Xeltron S.A.’s representative office in Peru for more than six years before continuing my career with leading coffee companies, including Neumann Gruppe, Comercio Amazonia, Aicasa, and ECOM Group.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge of Peru’s main coffee-producing regions and developed a comprehensive understanding of the coffee supply chain. I am passionate about contributing to this dynamic industry by bringing experience, commitment, and a collaborative approach focused on operational excellence
Yosely proveniente de familia cafetelera, egresada de Ingeniería de Industrias Alimentarias, anteriormente trabajó como encargada de Control de Calidad en una asociación, se incorporó a Falcón Coffee en el año 2025, formando parte del equipo de laboratorio, su función principal es catación.
Diana es Ingeniera de Industrias Alimentarias proveniente de una familia productora de café de la provincia de San Ignacio. Diana ha desempeñado actividades relacionadas con el café: recepción, tostado y empacado de café en una industria líder, posteriormente fortaleció sus conocimientos en control de calidad en una asociación cafetalera.
Actualmente, se enfoca en perfeccionar su arte en el laboratorio de control de calidad, especializándose en tostado y catación de café.
Alvaro holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) in Peru, bringing a solid background in international trade and analytics to the team. Passionate about market intelligence, he has actively developed professional bulleting projects like COMEX 360°, tracking market volatility and agribusiness data.
Alvaro joins Falcon Coffees as our Supply Chain Coordinator, taking on the role of managing and tracking our inbound international shipments to the U.S. market. He is responsible for coordinating directly with logistics providers, warehouses, and customs brokers to handle complex foreign trade documentation, resolve operational challenges, and maintain seamless communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure total business continuity.
